Yang Jun was born into a large family in Beijing, which has a rich cultural heritage and a strong artistic atmosphere. Her mother, Tao Junqi, graduated from the Central Academy of Drama and is a soprano singer, also the lead singer of the Central Children's Radio Choir's 'Let's Row Our Boats.' In 1985, Yang Jun entered Communication University of China (formerly Beijing Broadcasting Institute) with excellent grades, majoring in Television Engineering. The same year, she was admitted to the Television News program as the top graduate student in the humanities, and in 1992, she became the first master's student in the Television Communication program at Beijing Broadcasting Institute, focusing on television communication and news. Upon joining, she held multiple positions such as director, reporter, correspondent, on-camera reporter, and host in departments like the Economic Information Center and Overseas Center, participating in programs like 'Economic Half Hour,' 'Economic Information Broadcast,' 'World Economic Report,' 'China Report,' 'China News,' and 'Traveler,' accumulating rich on-site work experience.
